Wonderful family vacation. House was immaculate and beautiful. Loved the local cats and aguti that ran by. Thanks for the great a/c , it was a hot week. Cecilia was very nice and helpful.Palapa was part of our daily routine, especially the hammocks. Rosie kept the place spotless.Will stay here again when we come back to Playa.

We absolutly
loved our stay at Casa Maeva. The house is beautiful with amazing views of the ocean.The palapa is also wonderful and was used regularly during our stay.Wenceslao and Suli cooked the most delicious meals. They made our stay truly special! We cannot wait to return but for longer next time! Thank you.

Casa Maeva was the perfect place for our family holiday! We first came here for my sister wedding in 2009 and we're very excited to come back with our growing families. My 5 months old son got to experience the ocean for the 1st time. Thank you Cecilia for making this such a wonderful trip for my family. We hope to come back soon.

, una casa muy comoda, nos encantooooo... super limpia de 10.La cocina exquisita todo los alimentos preparados deliciosamente por el Sr Wenceslao y su esposa. Todo los platillos nos encantaron, comimos delicioso y estuvimos super atendidos. La alberca muy limpia, el area de palapa fantastica , todo muy bien, el jacuzzi fantastico.Todo estuvo perfecto. Esperamos volver pronto.

The worst thing was having to leave. The house was everything we expected and more. Needless to say we had an amazing week long stay in Casa Maeva. Orane was super helpful prior to our arrival, and Cecilia took good care of us during our stay. There were minor issues and Cecilia took care of them quickly. I recommend this house to anyone traveling with a family or a group of friends. The location was just perfect and we always felt safe. I wish I could eat dinner at the Palapa every night. Simply put, there's no other house in the community like it. We would definitely stay here if we happen to visit Playa again.

We are having a wonderful time in casa Maeva. The house is beautiful and the experience has been everything we could ask for.I couldn't have picked a more beautiful house for our vacation.

We visited for 5 days with a group of 6 (2 couples and 2 single guys). The house was amazing. There really were no "cons" to the house, so I will make a "pros" list. Pros: - the hose was clean (the maid came daily to clean up and did a great job). -the house was updated throughout (bathrooms, kitchen, etc.) -there was a sound system with speakers in the living room and kitchen, on the roof by the hot tub, and out on the deck by the pool -the neighborhood felt very safe (security walked by ever 15-30 minutes) -the house was about a 10 min walk from downtown, but far enough it was quiet -the house was right on the beach and the private palapa was great. -the kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, plates, cups, etc.... I recommend staying here, we will be sure to stay here again. Note, there is a YouTube video showing the house - search "Casa Maeva" and it should be the first hit.

I just want to say THANK YOU for allowing us to stay in this lovely house! We enjoyed our stay A LOT!! We regreted not renting it for a longer time, hopefully we will later, we visit Playa at least once a year, and definitely staying at Casa Maeva was the best experience.

Wonderfully furnished and well located house in Playa del Carmen. Rooms are very nice and the house is very comfortable to live in. Very close to town, right on the beach, and very family friendly.

Fantastic family vacation !
We stayed at Casa Maeva the first week of January 2012. We had a party of 9 that include my parents, my in-laws, my husband and I and 3 teens. The house was more spacious than we imagined and we all had plenty of room. The location was awesome! We had 3 teens with us and they could play on the beach, swim in the pool or walk to 5th avenue. The beach area across from the house was so awesome to grill out and just relax. Claudia, the rental manager, and her staff were the best! The house was always clean and the minor issues or questions we had were quickly fixed or answered. It was my birthday while we were there and she and her crew helped my husband surprise me with a birthday dinner under the palapa and a mariachi band. It was one of the best trips to Playa Del Carmen we've ever had. I would recommend this to anyone traveling with a large group of people of any age.
We had a wonderful time at Casa Maeva ! The setting is absolutely beautiful .Our accomodation for the 6 of us was perfect. The beach and the palapa was glorious. We used the barbeque grill every day. It was a real plus. The house and ground were always extremely clean. This was our best vacation ever . We will be back !!!

The C. family had an amazing experience at Casa Maeva . It was the perfect setting to celebrate the 50th anniversary of our parents wedding ! The accomodations offered everything we needed to have a wonderful, relaxing vacation. Fatima and Miguel were absolutely phenomenal in taking care of us. We highly recommend this place and we will return ! May the next guests have as much fun as we did and have the memories we will cherish .

Only experienced a few minor glitches with the house , but in all honesty , we could not have picked a better place to vacation and share a home with friends for the week.

A perfect place to spend our annual girls trip ! We had a fabulous time soaking up sun on the beach, drinking margaritas by the pool, grilling out on the cabaña and sharing laughs in the hot tub.

Four couples without kids came to relax and warm up in the midst of our Canadian winter. We witnessed the transformation of the beach, the pipes that brought sand from the ocean floor to rebuild the washed out shore. We proudly called ourselves the "pipe jumper". We had a great time together and wow to visit Mexico again.

Everything was perfect. Not a drop of rain, always a breeze. Loved the whale sharks and snorkeling. And the town. And tacos and of course the wonderful home.We enjoyed the pool and view and eating outside and the hot tub. Best: we always love the Mayan and Mexican people culture. We hate leaving and enjoy coming back.

By the way among other activities we swam with the whale sharks; swam with turtles twice in Akumal; a daughter parachuted from a plane onto the beach right in front of the house; loved walking downtown; and enjoyed just sitting on the patio. It was a terrific place and I am glad to know the palapa does not ruin that spectacular view.

I just wanted to let you know that the house was well worth the trouble. A stunning home with great staff in a beautiful location, made all the more incredible by the beach club. We did lose access to the beach for 6 days while they rebuilt the portion in front of the house, and of course this was disappointing. Everything else (and everything in MM Realty’s control) was first rate.
